Teenagers, Alcohol and Drugs Forum with Paul Dillon Forum to be held from 7pm -
8:30pm at Bayview College, Bentinck Street, Portland. Paul Dillon, Author, Personal
Development, Education Consultant, Social Commentator. Founder of Drug and
Alcohol Research and Training Australia and a former school teacher, Paul continues to
conduct drug information sessions and workshops for school students across Australia
and internationally. Paul also had a regular spot on a national radio program on Triple J
for seven years where he has dealt with current youth drug issues.
Teachers and parents from across all schools and communities are welcome to attend

Cuppa 4 Cancer Everyone is invited to the Narrawong Hall from 10am-12noon for
Narrawong’s answer to “The Biggest Morning Tea”, our Cuppa 4 Cancer. Morning tea,

Deborah Cheetham with Jonathon Welch Well known, singer, music teacher and Choir
of Hope and Opportunity (formerly the Choir of Hard Knocks) conductor, Jonathon
Welch AM, will be holding a FREE community choir workshop for people of all ages
interested in singing from 6.30 – 9.30pm at the Portland Drill Hall. Jonathon Welch is
visiting Portland with Indigenous opera singers Deborah Cheetham and baritone Tiriki
Onus and their accompanist, Toni Lalich who are returning for the second year to work
with Indigenous children from Portland and Heywood. These events are part of the
