The Portland Waterfront;
The beautiful Portland waterfront is alive and bubbling with activity, ships from all over come and go from this large Victorian Port, including the many fishing boats unloading the daily catch. Why not have a ride on the foreshore cable tram, or get some fishing in, Portland is renowned for its great fishing, with King George whiting, flathead, snapper, tuna and mulloway just to name a few of the local fish to be caught. And guess what, Portland also has some great surf, although this may surprise, so take the board and try it out.
Portland is so much more than you could have envisaged and a great location for a long weekend.
